The artisanal salt collection presents your choice of four exotic salts, a perfect gift for any budding master chef. Each of the finishing salts will add another dimension to the flavours within your cooking. Please read the descriptions of each salt below for further information about their unique flavours.
BLACK LAVA SALT
Hawaiian Black Lava salt gains its dramatic and eye-catching colour from the activated charcoal that it is blended with. Harvested from the Pacific waters off the small Hawaiian island of Molokai, this salt is both pure and unrefined. With a much stronger flavour than most table salts due to its mineral-rich properties, the black lava should only be used as a finishing salt. 
ENGLISH SMOKED SALT
The English smoked salt gives a wonderfully smokey flavour when used to season both meat and vegetables. A brilliant addition to any barbeque, this salt will provide a complexity of flavour that will please vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. 

GREEN BAMBOO SALT

Green Bamboo salt is a sea salt that has been infused with extracts of bamboo leaves, giving it that beautiful green hue. Harvested in Hawaii, this finishing salt has a distinct, fresh flavour that particularly lends itself to Asian cuisine. Like all our artisanal salts, it is naturally mineral-rich.

SEL GRIS DE GUERANDE

Our fourth salt in the collection is Sel Gris de Guérande. Originating from the salt ponds of Brittany, France, this salt can be used both for finishing as well as for general cooking. It is a beautifully versatile sea salt that is favoured by Michelin star restaurants around the world.

AFRICAN PEARL SALT

African Pearl salt is moulded by nature. These beautiful beads of salt are formed by the wind and currents of Lake Assal. The salt has a strong flavour and will work well in salt mills, adding the perfect finish to your meal. 

PINK HIMALAYAN SALT

Pink Himalayan salt is mined from the ancient salt caves of the Himalayas. This pink rock salt is unrefined and is known to be one of the purest salts in the world. Formed over 250 million years ago, the salt is harvested responsibly and remains unprocessed. Therefore the salt crystals still possess all of their natural minerals and ancient properties. It is attractive in appearance and also delivers a distinctive flavour that provides an interesting alternative to common table salt.

INCA SUN SALT

Also known as Andean salt, Inca Sun Salt can be found at a high altitude in the Peruvian highlands. Mined from shallow saltwater springs, the salt is formed by the sun and develop into pale yellow crystals. It is a delicate salt, comparative with Fleur de Sel.

BLACK FOREST SMOKED SALT

Our Black Forest Smoked salt has a beautifully smoky and rich flavour. Sea salt has been smoked over beech and fir trees, the traditional way and as a result, it delivers a wonderful depth of flavour. We recommend using this salt for grilling fish, chicken or beef. It even tastes great sprinkled over roasted vegetables.

CYPRUS PYRAMID FLAKES

Cyprus Pyramid Flakes naturally form in their unique pyramid shape as a result of evaporation. Alongside their beautiful appearance, these salt flakes are crisp and delicately flavoured and work best as a finishing salt.

KALAHARI DESERT SALT

Kalahari Desert salt is harvested under the intense South African sun in the salt lakes of the Kalahari. Like all of our salts in our collection, it is pure and unrefined. With mineral-rich properties, this salt is perfect for daily use both as a cooking and a finishing salt.


Each Artisanal Salt Collection is presented in a gift box trimmed with an ornate tag and ribbon, along with a silver seahorse charm.
