pink peppercorns

These sweet and flowery grains are commonly known as the pink peppercorn however they aren't peppercorns at all. Rather they are the sweet dried berry of the Peruvian Pepper Tree.

The delicate flavour of the pink peppercorn lends itself to fish dishes, marinades and as a seasoning for desserts.

To retain the pink peppercorn's sweet aromatic flavour during cooking, ensure that you cook on a low heat so as not lose its subtle flavour.
